The New Normal?: Transitioning Back to Hawk Hill is a social media impact campaign based on co-creation techniques and oral narratives. Our goal is to ignite open and honest conversations about current issues affecting the Saint Joseph University community and those around us. We considered a large range of topics, from lack of communication to the work, life, and school balance to the impact of COVID-19. As conversations continued and the project began to take form, we came to the realization that the common denominator in all of these topics was our transition back to campus.

As a result, our campaign The New Normal: Transitioning Back to Hawk Hill was created.

The lasting effects of COVID-19 and the “new normal” are present throughout the world, as well as on the SJU campus. To read more on the topic as it pertains to our campus, the following articles published by The Hawk Newspaper are a good place to start:

All content was co-created with the narrators, who signed consent forms giving their permission for us to post it here and on Instagram and YouTube. The narrators retain ownership of all their individual content.
